There are over-the-counter night guards, but having a night guard custom-made for your mouth offers the best comfort and most effective way to help you sleep and breathe better. If you have severe sleep apnoea, your doctor may still recommend a CPAP machine (which can also be used in conjunction with a custom night guard). For mild to moderate sleep apnoea, a custom night guard may be more comfortable and convenient, as it can be easily used if you are traveling. And if you don’t need a CPAP machine but your spouse is annoyed about your incessant snoring, a custom night guard can help your sleep and keep your partner happy!
